CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A historic match by senior Sydney Rowan, another 21 kills by Emani' Foster and solid defense all added up to a 3-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21) victory over Chicago State to claim the Windy City Classic title on Saturday afternoon. Rowan, cementing her name further in the 49ers record book, earned the tournament's MVP award while Foster and Amani McArthur were also named to the all-tournament team.
