ELON, N.C. – A flight title in both singles and doubles and a perfect, 4-0, weekend in singles play from graduate student Mikhail Sokolovskiy led the Charlotte men's tennis team through the Elon Fall Invitational to open the Fall campaign.
The opening day on Friday, saw the Niners go 4-1 in singles play and 3-1 in doubles action.
The highlight of Friday's play was the doubles tandem of redshirt freshmen Coy Simon and Abhimanyu Vannemreddy advancing to the final of the Phoenix draw with a pair of 6-4 victories.
