CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's golf team earned a spot in the Conference USA Championship Match on Tuesday afternoon defeating North Texas 3-0 in the morning session, but fell to top-seeded UTEP 3-1 in the afternoon title bout.
"I'm certainly proud of the effort of these guys today," began Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "It's always hard when you get that close to winning a championship and it doesn't work out the way you had hoped."
