CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sophomore Alexandra Lee rallied to win a three-set contest at the No. 2 singles position but it would be the only 49ers' point Saturday, as Charlotte women's tennis fell 6-1 to visiting Furman at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
"We've talked a lot about fighting and leaving it all out there on the courts," head coach Michaela Gorman said. "I felt like we did a little bit better of a job of that today. We talked afterwards about every day that we're together, we're working together and pushing each other especially as we are getting down the last couple weeks of the regular season before the conference tournament.
