CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer puts a cap on its preseason exhibition schedule with a 7 p.m. Saturday kickoff in Blacksburg, Virginia, against Virginia Tech of the ACC. It marks the second exhibition for the 49ers within a five-day span and barely over a week from the start of preseason training.
"We're making progress," head coach John Cullen said. "With preseason, you're just looking for those combinations and relationships on the field to develop. We had a good run out Monday night and have had some good sessions since then. That's what you're looking for – building phases, building blocks.
