INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Conference USA tournament champion Charlotte women's soccer program will stay in-state for its NCAA First Round matchup, meeting No. 12 Duke in Durham, North Carolina, at 1 p.m. Saturday. The 49ers captured the league's automatic berth, advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in program history.
"You're talking about a national championship-caliber program when you talk about Duke," head coach John Cullen said. "They're obviously one of the best-coached teams in the country and they're historically very, very strong. It will be an excellent challenge for our young team and one that we're looking forward to.
