CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte 49ers made an explosive charge to start the first half by jumping out to a early 2-0 lead. They would go on to add one more goal in the second half to take home a 3-1 win. Freshman Macey Bader scored two of Charlottes' three goals, earning her first two goals for the season and her career.
Charleston and Charlotte have met on the pitch four times, with the 49ers winning all four contests. The last time these two programs met was in September of 2013. Charlotte took the match by a score of 6-0.
