CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers women's golf coach Ryan Ashburn has announced the signing of four players for the 2021-22 season, all of whom are transferring to Charlotte from four-year institutions. Shelly Chen, originally from Taiwan, is a transfer from UAB, Kayla Bartemeyer transfers in from James Madison, Maia Samuelsson, originally from Sweden, joins the 49ers from Jacksonville University and Kaiyuree Moodley, of South Africa, comes to the 49ers from South Carolina.
Chen, whose high school team finished third at the 2018 Taiwan National Championships, was second on the Blazers team with a 76.
