Charlotte, N.C. – The nationally-ranked Conference USA regular-season champion Charlotte 49ers (12-3-2) men's soccer team, who is the tenth seed, host the Virginia Tech Hokies (11-4-4) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Transamerica Field, Sunday, November 20 at 4 pm.
NCAA Tournament History
The 49ers are making their sixth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament and their 12th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The 49ers have been a national seed in three of the last four NCAA Tournaments. Charlotte has reached the College Cup twice in 1996 and 2011, where the 49ers reached the College Cup Finals.
