Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's basketball programs held their annual Basketball Madness, which was sponsored by UNC Charlotte Housing and Residence life, in Halton Arena, Thursday, October 20. Over 1,800 fans enjoyed an evening of fun and excitement surrounding the 2016-17 Charlotte 49ers women's and men's basketball teams.
Basketball Madness was hosted by Comedian Burpie, who is a cast member on MTV's WildNOut. Music was provided by the Carolina Panthers Game Day DJ Vinny Esposito of Split Second Sound
Basketball Madness featured the 49ers Cheerleaders and Gold Dusters as well as Norm, the Charlotte 49ers' mascot.
