Roughly two-plus weeks into preseason training camp with roughly two more weeks to go, the Charlotte 49ers are preparing for their Sept. 1 season-opener at Eastern Michigan.
Here's some notes on where the team stands.
QB Hasaan Klugh, who started the last seven games of 2016 and orchestrated the 49ers first three wins in Conference USA play, is locked and loaded with the ones at the QB spot.
"Hasaan's had a good two weeks of practice," Lambert said. "He's really doing a good job of leading our offense and leading our football team all the way around.
