Charlotte, NC – The 15th-ranked Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team behind goals by Callum Montgomery, Myles Brown and Daniel Bruce defeated Longwood, 3-2, in an exhibition game at Transamerica Field.
"I thought the first half, we were a little too passive and we corrected that at half time," Charlotte coach Kevin Langan said. "The first thirty minutes of the second half was very good, we scored two, missed a penalty, and had another four or five good looks. As it was a preseason game, we made a lot of subs to try and get people some minutes.
