The Central Michigan women's basketball team's season isn't over just yet.

Despite a first round exit from the Mid-American Conference Tournament Wednesday, the Chippewas will have a chance to redeem themselves.

The Chippewas were defeated 67-63 in the quarterfinals by rival Western Michigan in Cleveland, but the team earned an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) due to their overall success this season.

It was Deja vu for the Central Michigan women's basketball team Wednesday – and not in a good way.
