BRADENTON, Fla. – The Central Michigan women’s golf team fell to Ohio, 4-1, Tuesday in its final match of the Mid-American Conference Match Play Challenge at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
The Chippewas finished 10th, going 1-2 in the 12-team event. They opened on Monday with a loss to Florida Gulf Coast, then defeated Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Monday afternoon.
“I’m encouraged by some of the things I saw,” CMU coach Cheryl Stacy said. “Each day we got better. We obviously still have some things to work on.
