MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – There’s a saying in life: You can never be rich enough or thin enough.
In sports, football, specifically, there’s another: You can never have enough running backs.
It’s a crowded backfield for Central Michigan in 2017. That can be a problem what with only one football to go around.
It’s a good a problem to have, and one that any coach would welcome.
“We do have a lot of depth, but in our room we stress a ‘band of brothers,’” first-year running backs coach Jayden Everett said.
