Chippewas Roll To Third Consecutive Victory

WASHINGTON D.C. – Emma Hamilton scored four goals and Riley Huda finished with seven points (two goals, five assists) Sunday as the Central Michigan lacrosse team defeated Howard, 19-9, in an Atlantic Sun Conference game at Greene Stadium.

It was CMU’s third consecutive victory. The Chippewas, who started the weekend with a 23-6 win at Delaware State on Friday, are 7-9, 4-5 ASUN and close the regular season at home on Saturday, April 29, (noon) against Detroit Mercy, 5-11, 3-6.

“No doubt (Detroit Mercy) will bring their best game and we’re looking forward to a great competition against them,” CMU coach Sara Tisdale said.
