• CMU and Oakland will meet for the second time this season. The game will be played at Jimmy John’s Field, home to the United Shore Professional Baseball League, a four-team independent minor league.
• The Chippewas defeated the Grizzlies, 9-7, on April 5 in Mount Pleasant. The second scheduled meeting, April 11 in Rochester, was cancelled because of poor weather.
• CMU took two out of three from Bowling Green in a Mid-American Conference series over the weekend.
