Chippewas Make 11-Shot Improvement

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – Kristen Wolfe shot 80 to lead the Central Michigan women’s golf team on Monday in the second round of the Georgia State John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate at Eagle’s Landing Country Club.

The Chippewas shot a 327 team total, an improvement of 11 shots over their first-round 338. The 54-hole tournament concludes with the final 18-hole round on Tuesday.

CMU stands in 15th place in the 15-team field with a 665 team total. They trail Louisiana-Monroe and South Alabama, which are tied for 13th at 632.

Wolfe’s 80 was a 10-shot improvement over the total she posted in Sunday’s opening round.
