Case Western Reserve University freshman Sam Hansen scored a career-high 17 points in the first start of his career, and junior forward T.J. Duckett added his third double-double of the year, but it was not enough for the Spartans, who dropped a 72-64 decision on the road to Adrian College on Saturday.
Hansen went six-for-eight from the field and connected on five of seven three point tries for the first double-figure scoring game of his collegiate career, after entering the contest with just 13 total points over his first four games.
