Case Western Reserve University juniors Ian Elam and Luke Thorburn and sophomores Umar Rashid and Sam Trunley were each named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team for their athletic and academic achievements during the 2022-23 campaign.
The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Players honored were selected by their school's Sports Information Directors and must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.
