Case Western Reserve University senior runner Jack Begley and junior thrower Adrienne Wachtman were both selected to the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as announced by the organization in a press release Friday night.
Begley qualified for the national meets in the 10,000-meter run. He set a school record in the event at the WashU Distance Carnival on April 1, completing the race in 29:41.72. It will be his second appearance at the national championships after finishing 15th in the 5,000-meter run at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships.
