CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tre Boston said it was “a little disappointing" that fellow Carolina Panthers safety Marcus Ball held up his right fist with the index finger extended during the national anthem before Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

It is Boston’s hope that the Panthers find a way to show their stance against the social injustice in America as a team, not as individuals.

It is his hope that they will find a way to do that in time for next week’s game at Atlanta.

“We all support what’s going on," Boston said after the 22-10 defeat that ended Carolina’s 14-game home winning streak.
