Spectacular catch reminds Panthers of what Kelvin Benjamin can bring

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Kelvin Benjamin appeared covered as he ran a deep rout over the middle. Rookie corner Daryl Worley was running stride for stride with the 6-foot-5 receiver, and safety Kurt Coleman was waiting over the top.

But Cam Newton threw the ball anyway.

Then everyone at Friday’s practice was reminded of why the Carolina Panthers' 2015 season appeared over to many when Benjamin suffered an ACL tear during the final week of last year’s training camp.

Benjamin thrust his 245-pound body up and over Coleman, snatching the ball out of the humid, sticky air, as he and the veteran safety rolled over each other to the ground.
