The 2015 Carolina Panthers were a buzzsaw that ran through the NFC playoffs en route to Super Bowl L. One of the victims was an Arizona Cardinals team that many thought could challenge the Panthers. We all fondly remember the 49-15 throttling that ensued in Bank of America Stadium. This game, the Panthers of old showed up once again and continued where they had previously left off against the Cards.
The game could not have started off better for the Panthers’ confidence. Just a few plays into the game, DT Star Lotulelei stripped QB Carson Palmer and Ol’ Reliable LB Thomas Davis scooped up the fumble and eventually scored his first career touchdown.
