The Carolina Panthers have severed ties with four more young players in order to get the roster down to 74 prior to the deadline.
The Carolina Panthers announced another batch of cuts today, who join a longer list let go over the weekend.
- S Trenton Robinson - Seemed to be a promising safety who has starting experience and value on special teams. Unfortunately, he needed pectoral surgery so this is likely going to result in him being placed on IR if he clears waivers.
- P Mike Scifres - After the Panthers made the move yesterday to grab P Andy Lee from the Browns, that all but sealed Scifres fate.
