Over the years, GM Dave Gettleman has made it a point to try and sign his own players to contract extensions. In 2014 this resulted in over 200 million dollars in extensions for Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, Greg Olsen and Derek Anderson.
This offseason could be similar as the Panthers have a number of key players who are potentially in line for new deals.
