Malte Strömwall, who signed as a free agent with Carolina on July 15 of 2022, is heading back to Sweden to play for Frölunda HC.
The 28 year old right handed winger hails from Luleå, Sweden but has not played there since the 2015-16 season have spent time in the Russian KHL before signing with the Canes in 2022.
