Faulk Named Hurricanes' Alternate Captain

RALEIGH, NC – Bill Peters, Head Coach of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has named defenseman Justin Faulk as one of the team’s alternate captains. Faulk joins Hurricanes captain Eric Staal and alternate captain Jordan Staal as the team’s players with letters on their jerseys designating their leadership positions on the team.

“Justin has emerged as an All-Star player in this league and a leader in our dressing room,” said Peters. “His leadership is on display every day in his commitment to his teammates, and carries through to his dedication to the organization and our community.
