Carolina Hurricanes return seven players to junior teams; activate Sebastian Aho, Teuvo Teravainen to active camp roster

The Carolina Hurricanes’ Red/White scrimmage on Sunday afternoon was the end of the line for seven players who will be returning to their junior hockey teams after being released from Canes camp. Of the seven players, three - forwards Spencer Smallman and Steven Lorentz and goaltender Callum Booth - were in their second camp; the other four were in their first professional training camp.

The Canes also officially announced, as had been confirmed earlier in the day by Ron Francis in a conversation with Chip Alexander of the N&O, that the two players who were late to camp because of their World Cup participation, Teuvo Teravainen and Sebastian Aho, will be making their debut at camp tomorrow.
