After assigning Patrick Brown to the Charlotte Checkers Sunday morning, the Carolina Hurricanes have made another roster move.
The team has recalled forward Lucas Wallmark from the AHL. The move comes right after Charlotte's 3-1 loss to the Chicago Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
Wallmark skated in three games with the Hurricanes in mid-March, tallying one assist, prior to being sent back to the Checkers on March 17.
The Swedish rookie is Charlotte’s leading goal scorer and was named the AHL rookie of the month in February.
In a separate move, the Charlotte Checkers have released forward Greger Hansen from his professional tryout contract.
