The Carolina Hurricanes held their annual Caniac Carnival and Red-White Scrimmage Sunday afternoon at the PNC Arena, and it was the new faces that stood out throughout the afternoon.
Team White, fueled by goals from Derek Ryan, Lucas Wallmark, Andrej Nestrasil, and Brendan Woods, took down Team Red on the third day of Hurricanes training camp today.
Team Red had goals from reigning 5th overall pick Noah Hanifin, Phil Di Giuseppe, and Brody Sutter.
It was a young-player show on Sunday with nearly no veterans on the ice, including the likes of Eric Staal, Jordan Staal, Jeff Skinner, Justin Faulk, Ron Hainsey, and other all sitting this one out.
