Victor Rask had his best season last year posting 21 goals and 27 assists in 80 games. In his second season he improved over his rookie year by 10 goals and 6 assists.
Often when players get older and more comfortable the game slows down. This helps them see the ice and openings better leading to more goals. Rask may not be in the 30 or 40 goal category yet, he is showing great improvement.
Jeff Skinner led all Carolina Hurricanes in both goals and points last season with 28 goals, 23 assists for 52 points.
