At the end of the day a point is a point, yes two would have been nice but the Canes just need something to go right. An overtime loss is better than a regulation loss.
With 4 days off the Canes have had time to rest, heal, and practice. They have gained quite a few games in hand on the Metro with plenty of teams losing since last weekend. Now they just need to shut down their opponents and make the best of these games in hand they have.
It helps that the next three games are metro opponents to be able to keep from getting points while the Canes gather them.
