As an up-and-coming goalie in an organization where Carey Price won the Vezina Trophy, Hart Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award, you can forgive Zach Fucale for thinking his future is doomed. But the Montreal Canadiens prospect, who was selected 36th overall in 2013, does not see it that way.
“It doesn’t change my expectations,” Fucale, who led Canada to a gold medal at the 2015 World Junior Championship, said at the NHLPA Rookie Showcase in Toronto on Tuesday where he and other top prospects had their pictures taken for Upper Deck hockey cards. “If you look at every team in the league, every team has a good starter, every team has good goalies in the organization.
