ST. LOUIS - - Apparently, the Winnipeg Jets weren't ready to roll over and sleepwalk through the final 30-plus games of the season.
While it's obvious their playoff hopes are already on life support, the Jets showed that there's definitely some life left in the corpse as they battled their way to a 2-1 shootout victory over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday at Scottrade Center.
For a good chunk of the season, the Jets were struggling to find their identity.
Just last season, it was easy to see that the Jets were fast, physical and hard to play against.
