The Calgary Inferno swept both games against the winless Boston Blades over the weekend, improving their fantastic season record to 9 wins and 1 loss.
On Saturday, the Inferno outshot the Blades 52-11 and got points from ten different players on route to a 5-1 win. Iya Gavrilova opened the scoring at 17:54 of the 1st period with assists from Sarah Davis and Akane Hosoyamada. Just 1:31 into the 2nd period, Blayre Turnbull made it a 2-0 game assisted from Bailey Bram. Then just over five minutes later, Brigette Lacqette and Brianne Jenner set up Rebecca Johnston for the 3-0 goal.
