Draft lottery a 'one-and-done' for Senators: GM Dorion

The Senators weren’t able to pull off a win in this Battle of Ontario.

Yes, the odds were stacked against the Senators with only a 2.5% chance to get the first pick Saturday night in the NHL draft lottery held at the CBC’s studio, Ottawa didn’t budge from its No. 12 position while the Toronto Maple Leafs were able to rejoice by winning the No. 1 selection for the June 24-25 NHL entry draft in Buffalo when the dust settled.

But Senators GM Pierre Dorion, who attended the lottery on behalf of the franchise for the first time, wasn’t complaining one bit.
