Derek Grant seemed to have impressed during the preseason as he was listed in the Flames starting roster at the beginning of the season.
Grant, the 202 lbs, 6'3" forward from Abbotsford, B.C. has had an impressive run so far this season with the Flames. Not so much in goals and assists, but his face off percentages are pretty good for a guy who was signed as a free agent. In his last five games with the Calgary Flames, Grant has averaged a 51.
