With the National Hockey League season over, Chad Johnson and his wife Alexandra were finally planning on taking the honeymoon that they’d postponed from their wedding last summer.
They’d been married before NHL free agency began in July and Johnson, without a contract, figured it would be best if they stuck around after their “I Do’s.” It all worked out because Johnson signed a one-year deal with the Calgary Flames.
Turns out, they’ll have to re-arrange their schedules — again.
The two were in the process of planning a trip to Santorini, Greece, when Team Canada called to invite Johnson to the IIHF world championships in Paris, France, and Cologne, Germany.
