A few days back, Dougie Hamilton and a hat-trick of Calgary Flames teammates suited up as the stars of The Avengers for a visit to the Alberta Children's Hospital.
Hamilton, apparently the guy who suggested the superhero get-ups, was Iron Man.
"There was a lot of shock -- I don't think the kids were really expecting it -- and a lot of blank faces, just kind of trying to figure out what was going on," Hamilton said. "And there were some pretty good smiles, too. The nurses were saying, for a couple of the kids, that was the most that they've smiled in a while.
