The Pac-12 has officially announced that the football season has been cancelled for the fall of 2020. While the goal is to play it in the spring, all athletic competition has been suspended until at the very earliest January 1, 2021.
With the news spreading and all the talk coming from those in the Pac-12 CEO Group as well as Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott, California Golden Bears head coach Justin Wilcox wasted no time at supplying his statement and thoughts on the decision:
“The COVID-19 pandemic has obviously put all of us in an incredibly difficult and complex situation.
