The California Golden Bears lost a large piece of the 2021 puzzle when wide receiver Jeremiah Hawkins announced his decision to transfer. Hawkins, who opted out of the 2020 season amid a global pandemic, has graduated from Cal and will take with him a full year of eligibility to his next destination.
Hawkins made his intentions known via social media:
“It has been an honor to attend and graduate from The University of CAL BERKELEY. Educationally and athletically this has been nothing short of a dream come true for me. I thank GOD for my time here in Berkeley as it has been a true journey.
