Golden Bears had a rare weekend with two matches at home, but prevailed with two victories over Nebraska Omaha (never heard of them) and Harvard (this one sounds familiar).
It took until the 61st minute for the Bears to break through in this one, despite out shooting their opponents 18 to 4 on the match. Aravind Sivakumar scored his first goal of the season. Christian Thierjung added a goal in the 83rd minute as Jonathan Klinsmann earns a clean sheet.
Opportunistic but also with that killer instinct, senior striker Christian Thierjung had a historically memorable game on Sunday.
