Bruce Feldman reports. Cal’s new offensive coordinator hails from the FCS program from Eastern Washington. Coach Baldwin lead the EWU since 2008 to an overall 85–32 record with wins against Oregon State in 2013 and Washington State in 2015. He also coached the EWU Eagles to a 2010 FCS National Championship.
In his most recent season EWU Eagles ended their season in the FCS Championships in the semi-finals falling to Youngstown State in a 12-2 campaign with their other loss to #1 ranked North Dakota State earlier in the season.
His most famous player is QB Vernon Adams who transferred to Oregon in 2015 as well as Taiwan Jones who is currently the RB for the Oakland Raiders.
