From India to Argentina and Mexico to Jamaica, flavors from around the globe will be showcased during the second annual Food Truck and Brewery Battle on Saturday, Aug. 4.
The all-ages event, which has expanded from last year, runs from 4 to 10 p.m. at The Gateway, 100 S. Rio Grande St., which is one of the event sponsors along with The Food Truck League, U92 and The Salt Lake Tribune.
In all, there will be 18 food trucks: six longtime favorites — Apollo Burger, Cubby’s, Family Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Pineapple, Smokin' Star BBQ (which was added this week) and Yoshi’s — as well as 12 newcomers vying for the Best New Food Truck Award.
