In their last 29 season openers, the Nebraska Cornhuskers have come away victorious 29 times.
That streak could get snapped when the Cornhuskers face BYU in the first game of the 2015 campaign Sept. 5, at least in the view of Football.com’s Jay Saunders.
“It is very likely the most interesting home opener since the Florida State win in 1986, and, for several reasons, it could very easily be the game that ends the streak,” Saunders writes.
