BYU names new dean of College of Engineering and Technology

PROVO — Michael A. Jensen has been named the new dean of the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology at Brigham Young University.

Jensen , a professor in the electrical and computer engineering department, will begin his five-year term as dean on July 1. He is replacing Alan R. Parkinson, who has been serving as dean since 2005. Parkinson will return to full-time teaching in the college.
