BYU football’s Colby Pearson was a bit of a surprising signing after the NFL Draft last year. But the Green Bay Packers clearly saw something in the Cougar wide out, signing him to the practice squad.
He didn’t record a statistic during the 2017 NFL season, but now Pearson has a nice new contract to ring in the new year.
The Green Bay Packers announced on January 2 that they had signed Pearson to a contract. According to contract database website Spotrac.com, Pearson’s deal is for two years, for just over $1 million.
In 2019, the former BYU football wide receiver will make $480,000.
