Kethan Savage is better. Butler is better.

INDIANAPOLIS – Kethan Savage’s malaise remains a mystery. All he knows is that he didn’t feel well, and his long-delayed re-entry into college basketball was delayed again.

He is not dwelling on games he has lost, but ones to be won. He feels better. His Butler Bulldogs are better. His mission has been to reach the NCAA tournament – he has never played in one – and that is unchanged.

“Coming into the season, we were slept on a little bit,” Savage said. “We’re all competitive. That’s probably in the back of our minds. I think we know what we’re capable of.
