INDIANAPOLIS -- Five seasons later, Butler will get another crack at Saint Louis on the basketball floor.Butler announced Thursday it has scheduled a home-and-home series with Saint Louis. The Bulldogs will meet Saint Louis on Dec. 2, then play at Saint Louis in the 2018-19 season.
The Bulldogs were 0-3 against Saint Louis in 2013 when both were members of the Atlantic 10. The Bulldogs lost 65-61 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in a game that, if they had won, would have allowed them to tie Saint Louis and VCU for the regular-season conference championship.
Butler trails 11-19 in a series that dates to when the Bulldogs and Billikens belonged to the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (now Horizon League).
